DESCRIPTIVE COMPOSURE

Derived from my own observation, curiosity, imagination, sketches, and photographs captured from a glimpse of detailed events of my obsessions, fascinations, and passions. Inspired by beauty in life, I blend creative emotions in a distinctive style that resonates with my viewers. Inspired by the beautiful city of Venice, Italy, "Happiness" to me is being alone with my own thoughts in a gloriously old-fashioned paradise, to wander around on a silent winter midnight and create beauty in the art of an art. The incredible feeling of renaissance in the city with its untouched architectural heritage, spectacular centuries-old buildings, a stone walk which is five hundred years old, canals, alleys, bridges, and unmatched romantic vibes giving the 13th and 18th centuries' uniqueness of Venice. “To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.”

POTRAIT AND ABSRACT WORK

Bringing the golden age of the '50s to the '90s back in a re-creation of a mixed-media series of pop art prints. Styling images in bold colors, textured layers, and highlighted waves of timeless photographs of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar models, Evelyn Tripp and Mary Jane Russell, to icons like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, and Christopher Reeve. A trend of photographic base work of unforgettable and glamorous personalities with an overwhelming immediacy. And a little bit of balance between masculine, geometrical angles and soft, seductive, feminine curves. My work is also influenced by the extremely refined, 1930s minimalist elegance of the Art Nouveau Era, as seen in the recent remakes of Agatha Christie's mystery novels, starring David Suchet.
